AB 1471 advances from committee to Assembly

Now that a specially-commissioned study by UC Davis has tentatively rubbished the notion of microstamping as a crime-fighting tool, the California Assembly Appropriations Committee responded in the only reasonable way and voted AB 1471 out of the committee and onto the Assembly floor.

More proof, as if any was needed, that California legislators occupy their own personal reality that is different from yours and mine.
