DC Gun Ban Repeal Upheld!

Washington DC One of the biggest stories this year in national politics was the overturning of the long-standing Washington DC handgun ban on Second Amendment grounds. Naturally, the national media have almost completely ignored this story.

They will probably also ignore the fact that this week the DC Court of Appeals voted to turn down a request by the city for a ruling by a twelve judge panel. Now the only thing the city can do is take their case to the Supreme Court or – ulp! – repeal the stupid gun ban.
