Maryland freedom fighters kicking ass and taking names

Maryland gun owners and civil rights advocates are fighting a proposed state assault weapon ban, one that sounds much worse than the one we have been living with here in California for over a decade (for example, it would ban virtually all semi-auto pistols, and might not even have any grandfather provisions). Last night there was a state Senate committee hearing on the matter, and the gun rights speakers outnumbered the pro-prohibition crowd by 210 to five! If we could get that kind of commitment from gun owners here in California we wouldn’t have an assault weapon ban.
